Well its a HAPPY NEW YEAR from here at DIESLER HQ.
Exciting news filtering down the line is the wealth of support our BURIED TREASURE label had in the 2013. Featuring in end of year round ups including that of CRAIG CHARLES FUNK & SOUL SHOW, TIM ‘LOVE’ LEE (TUMMY TOUCH) & JUNO amongst others. 2014 promises to be even bigger one for Alan & myself with our first ARTIST ALBUM & RE-ISSUE COMPILATION coming out in addition to our first artist EP due next month… Keep ’em peeled.
Radio wise I will be going all FM in the new year. In addition to my weekly ‘A LITTLE SOMETHING RADIO‘ podcast I will be presenting a monthly show on PRESTON FM (also streamed online) with BODIE & FRASERFUNK of the VINYL MINERS every 3rd Thursday of the month. More news to follow on that…
In the clubs YOU DIG? kicks off the new year with a big BASEMENT PARTY on FRIDAY 31ST JANUARY at SOUP KITCHEN, MANCHESTER featuring 12 PIECE Sheffield ensemble RENEGADE BRASS BAND. As always SIMON HAM & myself are on the turntables and we will continue our monthly kitchen sessions on the 2ND THURSDAY of each MONTH.
